A good day does not start with a swollen foot …

How to say? Yesterday, while playing badminton I made one stupid move and my foot got twisted. I could hear some sound, like cracking peanuts, and then I stopped playing. Directly after the accident I could walk and run without any pain or strange feeling. Anyway, when I came home in the evening, I already felt some tension inside my foot and when I woke up this morning the left foot has gained some size (compared to the right one). Not only this, it pretty much hurts every step I take. Riding the bicycle is OK, but walking is like hell. I think I am going to see a doctor in the afternoon. Let’s hope that nothing is broken and that all muscles are on the place they are supposed to be….

Update:
At the hospital I (or better to say, my foot) were “X-ray”-ed and it was confirmed that no bone was broken. Also all muscles were in place, expect that they have been streched a lot what causes the pain and makes everything appear to be swollen. I think the exact expression is, “ligamental strain” although I only heard the Japanese one. I have to stop playing badminton for a month, which does not make me happy, but that’s something I can live with, compared to the idea of broken bones or a rapture of one the muscles.
