The EPS award for the year 2009 was presented to me yesterday at the beginning of the banquet of the annual JPGU meeting. Two colleagues from my institute joined the ceremony and took some pictures which can be found here. On one of the pictures it looks like that I am not bowling correctly when receiving the award, but the picture has been shot a glimpse before I do the correct move.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank all the co-authors as well as many other people from my institute. I will try to do my best in future, to justify the reception of this award by future scientific output.
